A foundational game where children can listen to instructions and tap on the correct card from a set of options.

Is My Child Ready For This Activity?

Find and Tap is one of the first activities in the learning journey. It's suitable for children who can recognize basic objects, shapes, colors, or letters.

Levels & Progress

This activity has 5 levels that progress through increasing options:

Level Number of Options Challenge
1 2 cards Simple either/or choice
2 3 cards Three options to choose from
3 4 cards Four options
4 5 cards Five options
5 6 cards Six options to scan through

Gameplay Experience

  1. See the Cards: Multiple cards appear on screen showing letters, numbers, animals, fruits, shapes, or words
  2. Hear the Instruction: Jane says "Tap [target]" (e.g., "Tap A" or "Tap the Apple")
  3. Find and Tap: Child finds and taps the correct card
  4. Celebrate or Retry:
    • βœ… Correct: Confetti celebration! Auto-advances to next challenge
    • ❌ Incorrect: Gentle buzzβ€”try again!

Tip: Tap on the header to hear the instruction again. Swipe left to skip to the next challenge.

Character Sets

Find and Tap supports many different categories:

  • Letters: Uppercase (A-Z) and lowercase (a-z)
  • Numbers: Digits (0-9), tens (10-90), hundreds (100-900)
  • Animals: Common animals with images 🐱🐢🐘
  • Fruits: Colorful fruits πŸŽπŸŒπŸ‡
  • Colors: Basic colors πŸ”΄πŸŸ‘πŸŸ’
  • Shapes: Geometric shapes β­•οΈβ—ΌοΈπŸ”Ί
  • Words: 2-6 letter words with images

Highly recommended! This activity uses:

  • Voice instructions telling the child what to tap
  • Audio feedback for correct and incorrect answers

Children can play without sound using the visual header text, but the audio instructions are essential for building listening skills.
