Memory Cards is great for children who can focus on a task and remember simple information. It's one of the starter activities with no prerequisites.

This activity has 3 grid sizes based on level:

Gameplay Experience
- See the Grid: Cards are laid out face-down showing "?"
- Flip First Card: Tap a card to reveal what's underneath
- Flip Second Card: Tap another card to try to find its match

Match or Miss:
- ✅ Match: Both cards stay face-up and are marked as found
- ❌ No Match: Both cards flip back face-down after a moment
- Win: Find all pairs! Jane says "Well done! Let's do it again!"
Visual Feedback:
- Flipped cards show their symbol (letter, number, emoji)
- Matched pairs are highlighted
- Progress bar shows which pairs you've found
Character Sets
Cards can feature:
- Fruits: 🍎🍌🍇🍊🍓🍐
- Animals: 🐱🐶🐘🦁🐸🐰
- Letters: Uppercase and lowercase
- Numbers: Digits and tens
Each game mixes character types based on level.
